The SSI Group Releases ClickON® PREVENT: Designed for Early Detection and Preventative Care at the Registration Point of Care
Mobile, Alabama, May 9, 2007 - The SSI Group, Inc. (SSI), a healthcare electronic data interchange (EDI) company, today announced the release of ClickON® PREVENT (Precise Registration, Edit Validation and Enterprise Tracking), a revenue cycle solution that enables healthcare facilities to avoid registration errors, thus reducing denials.
ClickON® PREVENT includes workflow solutions that were constructed by utilizing the ClickON Revenue Recovery framework and utilizes the ClickON® Billing backend real-time edits engine for real-time transactions such as eligibility, address verification, authorizations and referrals. PREVENT is a Web based application that can be hosted at SSI or configured to operate within the healthcare organizations Intranet. Utilizing HL/7 feeds from the Hospital Information System or Practice Management System, PREVENT supports all healthcare ANSI X.12 transactions.
ClickON Prevent is involved in all four different phases of the patient's stay starting with Registration/Admissions/Scheduling, Order/Charge Entry, Medical Records Coding and PreBilling. All phases include editing and correction of patient data, as well as, error trending and tracking reports.
"The comprehensiveness of the PREVENT solution is what makes this product stand out among any other on the market. Complete integration into our Eligibility system which already has a viable and tested reputation, makes us the leader in revenue cycle management," said Chief Operating Officer Deborrah Short. "The HL/7 feed from the host system will propagate the SQL instantaneously, invoke the work flow and edits, which then will route the patient encounter or claim to the next phase if error free, or send the claim to a user definable work queue if corrections are needed."
"With our thousands of edits already developed in our billing package being applied to the front end, the return on investment will increase substantially," said Short. "The claims will be clean on the front end and run seamlessly through the billing package with inherent workflow capabilities. The ability to provide detailed error trending and edit tracking at multiple stages will help create a smoother process."
Benefits derived from this seamless integration of technology and workflow include the correction of error fields prior to the final bill drop, intuitive business flow based on the individual needs of facilities, the identification of common errors from reporting features, and the reduction of the learning curve due to the ease of integration. |
