Workflow, Automated Alerts New Features in ClickON® Claims Status Module’s Latest Release

Mobile, Alabama, March 28, 2007 - Intuitive workflow functionality and automatic alerts are the primary enhancements in Version 4.0 of the ClickON® Claims Status Module (CCSM) from The SSI Group, Inc. (SSI).

Version 4.0 of CCSM incorporates tightly integrated workflow driven by a follow-up and queuing system that are easily administered by users. Notifications can also be set up by CCSM users to automatically alert them when a claim requires further review and possible adjustment for resubmission.

"Managing a healthcare enterprise's claims cycle can be complex, requiring technology that provides intelligent workflow capabilities," said SSI's Assistant Vice President of Research and Development Bobby Zimmerman. "Additionally, automatic notification of when a claim requires further attention simplifies and speeds the follow-up processes for these claims."

CCSM is an advanced claims management system that works with SSI's ClickON Claims Editor (Billing Module) to provide the status of claims from commercial and government payers. The module utilizes the Medicare Common Working File (CWF) and 276/277 claims status inquiry and response transactions. Detailed reporting capabilities provide data that can be shared in a variety of formats and with multiple viewing options, such as pie or bar charts.

"Automated alerts then notify the appropriate staff when action is required. This transforms the claims cycle into a seamless process that addresses all stages in the life of a claim."
