New Claims Forms, Expanded Tracking Capabilities Highlight Release of ClickON® Claims Editor Version 6.5

Mobile, Alabama, March 20, 2007 - With UB04 and CMS 1505 claims forms and other significant enhancements, The SSI Group, Inc. (SSI) has released version 6.5 of its ClickON® Claims Editor (Billing Module). Along with the new forms for institution and professional healthcare claims, version 6.5 provides expanded reporting options and greater claims tracking capabilities via the 276/277 claims status inquiry/response HIPAA transactions.

In this latest version of the ClickON Claims Editor, an enhancement has been embedded in the application to process the 277 claims status response and 997 functional acknowledgement. Data from these transactions now update individual claims with the most current claims tracking status and puts this vital information in a special claims status table within the claims editor.

"ClickON technology positions our clients to be successful with their claims management operations," said SSI COO Debbie Short. "The new claims forms and enhancements associated with version 6.5 ensure that our clients are prepared to address new regulatory issues like the National Provider Identifier (NPI), improved reporting for security and better capabilities to track their claims throughout the adjudication process."

New security reports include of the Default User Access report, Special User Access report, User List report and the Security Details report. The Default User Access Report identifies the default user access configured for each user in the system’s security settings. With the Special User Access report, special user access configured for users can be identified. All user IDs configured in the ClickON Claims Editor are highlighted with the User List report. Security access for each user is identified in the Security Details report.
An enhancement to the CCI report provides service data options. Another addition provides the capability to print the paid amount on each claim plus the contractual amount. Prior to this addition, only the paid amount (the remit net reimbursement) only printed in this field.

ClickON Technology from SSI, a healthcare electronic data interchange (EDI) company, provides connectivity to a wide variety of commercial and government healthcare payers, including Medicare, through an EHNAC-certified clearinghouse/Data Center and the industry’s first direct-to-payer claims submission solution.
